La Venta del Batán bullpens and the José Cubero “Yiyo” bullfighting school with its adjacent bullring were ordered closed down by a Madrid mayor with a conscience in 2015. They limped on till the end of the next year before they were abandoned.

However, the folks running the bullfighting fought back and managed to reopen that in 2021, though it seemed pretty abandoned when Abandoned Berlin called around on Good Friday. Maybe all the matadors were at Easter parades, who knows? But the photos below were all taken that day.
