Hitler was among 12,586 patients to be treated at Beelitz-Heilstätten after some inconsiderate buffoon threw a grenade at the Battle of the Somme, injuring his thigh. DDR top dog Erich Honecker was treated here much later on. But the real crazy shit only happened after that.
