Flugplatz Rangsdorf is the former airfield from which Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg flew off with a bomb for Hitler as part of the ultimately unsuccessful July 20 plot. A table leg saved the Führer. A table leg!
But let’s not get carried away. It was too little too late at that stage anyway.
