Panzer Kaserne

Soviet soldiers liked nothing more than covering their walls with newspapers.

Years later they were followed by people who liked to cover the abandoned walls with paint, bringing them back to life with wonderful creations.

The Panzer Kaserne in Bernau, which used to be main administration buildings for the Nazis’ Heeresbekleidungsamt, or army uniform making/repairing/cleaning facility, has become a favorite haunt for street artists.

Photos below are from 2012 (first gallery), and 2014 (second).
