Heeresbekleidungsamt
When the Germans were trying to take over the world, they wanted to look good. Appearances are everything when there’s nothing inside.
The Nazis had their uniforms made in Bernau’s Heeresbekleidungsamt, “Army Clothing Agency,” which also doubled as a storage facility for military supplies. Of course, when all their efforts ended in vain, it was taken over by Red Army for similar activities and for transporting loot back to the good ol’ USSR.
Photos of these empty halls were taken in 2014.
