Kinderkrankenhaus
Kinderkrankenhaus Neukölln was once home to many of the area’s homeless people, making it a misnomer to call them homeless. What society means by this description is these people do not have the decency to get jobs to earn money to pay for safe comfortable homes to rent – even if if they could find them in Berlin.
Anyway, the “homeless” were turfed out of their homes so people who could pay for safe comfortable homes could move in when the former hospital was converted to apartments. No doubt the homeless just disappeared into thin air, forgotten again, and everyone else lived happily ever after.
Photos below are from 2010, when it was still home to homeless.
