Volkspolizeikaserne Blankenburg
There used to be a barracks for the Volkspolizei-Bereitschaft, East Germany’s paramilitary riot police, in Blankenfelde, which was abandoned after Mauerfall and left like a stain upon the londscape until it was knocked down. (Because Germany likes to forget its past, however much it tells you otherwise.)
