Fischerpinte

Fischerpinte was a beloved old boathouse, pub and biergarten on wooden decking at Plötzensee that the local Bezirksamt won’t allow to reopen after the proprietor died in February.

The Bezirksamt, citing Naturschutz, wants to knock it down altogether, going against the wishes of most sane Berliners who valued the lakeside refuge for its unpretentious, ungentrified old world charm – a place to relax and get away from it all.
