Freibad Lichtenberg and the BVG-Stadion were demolished without a care in 2018 and 2015, respectively, despite their historical significance.

Freibad Lichtenberg was once used by athletes training for the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and again four years later for the 1936 Games in Berlin. The stadium was built in 1920.

Berlin did not give a shite about either of them, and that was the end of that.
